WellSuited Talent, a premier New York City design firm, seeks an Architect II / Architectural Designer II to lead technical design and carry design intent through construction. You’ll work on high-profile projects across residential, hospitality, commercial, and adaptive reuse, collaborating with senior leadership to deliver comprehensive documentation.

You have 6+ years of professional architecture experience, strong Revit/Rhino/AutoCAD proficiency, and a portfolio demonstrating design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional architecture experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam.

Responsabilités

• Participate in project design and development from concept through documentation, implementing design direction from senior leadership.
• Prepare client design presentations, including concept images, 3D views, rendered elevations, material selections, and presentation decks.
• Support production of Design Development and Construction Document sets, including drawings, schedules, specifications, and project-specific construction details.
• Coordinate with all consultants, manage BIM coordination, and review consultant sets before phase releases.
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence, and maintain RFI and submittal logs.
• Support construction administration, including shop drawing review, site meetings, field reports, punch lists, and record documents at closeout.
• Attend client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and give technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.

We're searching for an Architect II / Architectural Designer II to join an award-winning New York City design firm known for sophisticated projects that thoughtfully blend historic context with contemporary design. With over 27 million square feet designed in more than 25 cities across the U.S. and abroad, the firm's portfolio spans residential, hospitality, commercial, arts and culture, and institutional work. In this role, you'll own technical design aspects of large, complex projects and carry design intent from concept all the way through construction.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• 6+ years of professional architecture experience with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility requirements
• Experience across all phases of the design process, from concept through construction administration
• Strong design, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
