Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in an architectural office.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Advanced understanding of construction documentation and building systems.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and accessibility requirements.
• Experience coordinating consultant drawings and preparing permit sets.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with attention to detail.
• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

Position Available

We're seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming ideas into well-coordinated, permit-ready construction documents and takes pride in producing accurate, buildable work.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-directed, and enjoys solving technical challenges while collaborating with experienced project teams.

Much of our practice focuses on tenant fit-outs, renovations, and multi-location programs for clients in the wellness, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial markets. We also work on select adaptive reuse, community, residential, and ground-up projects throughout New York and across the United States.

This position is primarily focused on technical excellence, production, and project coordination, with opportunities for advancement into project coordination, technical leadership, or other leadership roles as interests and experience evolve.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with our Project Managers and project teams:

• Prepare and coordinate high-quality permit and construction documents using Revit.
• Develop technical details and drawing packages for commercial renovation and tenant fit-out projects.
• Coordinate architectural documents with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
• Adapt prototype designs and client standards to existing buildings, local codes, and site-specific conditions.
• Participate in existing conditions documentation, code research, permitting, and construction administration.
• Review drawings for accuracy, coordination, and quality before project submission.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continually improving our technical standards and documentation practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Five or more years of experience in an architectural office.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is welcomed but not required.
