Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking an Architectural Design Project Coordinator to oversee CAD support for capital projects under $640k within Real Estate | Planning, Design & Construction. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage small capital projects from cost estimation to close-out.
• Scope new project requests and propose project implementation, budget, and schedule.
• Develop CAD drawings through design development, schematic design, and construction documentation.
• Oversee hiring and coordination of contracted engineers; recommend modifications to design, construction, and vendor contracts as needed.
• Communicate with contracted vendors and UCLA Health clients.
• Oversee project review for regulatory compliance with requirements and organizational policies.
• Manage submittals to HCAI and UCLA plan checks.
• Ensure training and close-out documents meet contract requirements and are properly distributed.
