Job summary

MADI 19six Architects, founded in Santa Barbara, seeks a Design Professional to support projects across K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare and Civic sectors. Bachelor of Architecture required; experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office is expected.

You will collaborate with project teams, develop design concepts, and produce detailed drawings. The role emphasizes clear communication, task management and a proactive approach to design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Architecture required.
• Previous experience or internship with an architecture firm preferred.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office software is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with Project Managers, Architects and Job Captains.
• Develop and hone awareness of project processes and context.
• Create and assist with project design efforts as directed.
• Revise project redlines quickly and efficiently, as requested.
• Check own work for accuracy and against company graphic standards.
• Assist with bidding, permitting and construction admin processes (submittal/RFI/PCO intake, logging & filing).
• Assist with project closeout and archiving.
• Work collaboratively within an architectural team.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
