Job summary

Bartlett & West, Inc. is seeking a Lead Architect Designer to deliver conceptual, design, and technical services from start to finish. You will work within a team that values design excellence and client-focused solutions while coordinating with project managers and internal teams.

You will supervise production and ensure quality, meeting deadlines and budgets. A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Architecture plus 8+ years of licensed experience are required; occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 8+ years of architectural experience and licensure in required states.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; strong skills in MS Office and general graphic software.
• Knowledge of green design, sustainability practices, and relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a design and technical specialist in architecture.
• Directs production of project deliverables up to signing and sealing as Architect of Record.
• Oversees design process, schedules, and cost estimates with project management.
• Mentors staff and collaborates with project managers to develop proposals and client presentations.
