Job summary

The Progressive Companies Summer Internship Program is a paid, full-time experience designed to launch your career in architecture, design, engineering, and construction. As an Architectural Student Intern, you will assist with all aspects of the building design process, including presentations, schematic designs, Revit modeling, and construction documents, while

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an NAAB-accredited Architecture Bachelor's degree program.
• At least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027.
• Basic knowledge of Revit strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design, building systems, sustainability, and industry trends.
• Strong math, analytical, design and problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate well.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Experience in Project, SharePoint and Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the project team to help meet project schedules and budgets.
• Manage multiple project tasks in a timely, accurate manner, monitoring progress against project scope and available resources.
• Provide documentation for final architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details consistent with Progressive’s standards.
• Assist in preparing building models and detailed contract documents consistent with Progressive Companies standards.
• Check code compliance information as it relates to the discipline and any effect it may have on other disciplines.
• Collaborate with project designers, architects, and managers to understand modifications to project design, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Use design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign, for presentation and production purposes.
