Job summary

The Progressive Companies Summer Internship Program is a paid, full‑time experience designed to launch your career. As an Architectural Student Intern, you will work collaboratively with design architects, project architects, and project managers to assist with all aspects of the building design

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a NAAB‑accredited Architecture Bachelor’s degree program is required.
• At least one year of undergraduate study completed by Summer 2027.
• Basic knowledge of Revit is preferred.
• Familiarity with architectural design, building systems, sustainability, and design/construction industry trends.
• Strong math, analytical, design and problem‑solving abilities; good communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Project, SharePoint and Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the project team to help meet project schedules and budgets.
• Manage multiple project tasks in a timely, accurate manner, monitoring progress against project scope and resources.
• Provide documentation for final architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details consistent with Progressive's standards.
• Assist in preparing building models and detailed contract documents consistent with Progressive Companies standards.
• Check code compliance information as it relates to the discipline and any effect on other disciplines.
• Collaborate with project designers, architects, and managers to understand modifications to project design, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Use design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign, for presentation and production purposes.
