Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an Architectural Design Intern to join our Toledo studio for hands-on project experience in world-class facilities. This onsite role requires daily attendance at our Toledo, OH office with no remote option.

You will assist in creating construction documents and developing design details under supervision, contributing to high-profile client projects across manufacturing and corporate sectors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in a NAAB-accredited architecture program.
• Revit experience required.
• 3D rendering skills (Enscape, V-ray, SketchUp, 3D Max, etc.)
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Eager to learn and passionate about design.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of routine project design assignments, with growing responsibility, guided by a project engineer/architect or department manager.
• Works from both own designs and designs of others, compiles data, performs design computations, makes quantity take-offs, and assists in preparation of cost estimates.
• Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings and applies design fundamentals.
• Develops project details, prepares selections, and adapts to alternatives.
• Maintains working knowledge of the discipline's codes and studies non-routine code issues.
• Performs production of construction documents.
