Location: Maryland / Washington, DC / Northern Virginia (Hybrid/Remote with some office presence)
Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 base salary + bonus potential (total compensation $100K+)

Position Overview
The Architectural Design & Facilities (ADF) Representative is responsible for driving product specifications and generating new project opportunities within the architectural and design (A&D) community. This role focuses on building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers, facility managers, and end users to ensure Fishman products are specified in commercial projects.
This position serves as a critical link between the design community and the sales team, helping convert specifications into contractor sales and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and facility managers
- Promote and secure product specifications for commercial flooring projects Identify and track project opportunities within the assigned territory
- Partner with outside sales teams to convert specifications into sales
- Deliver product presentations and educational sessions to A&D firms
- Provide expertise on product applications, building codes, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate project and customer data within CRM systems
- Manage territory activities, pipeline, and reporting effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, interior design, architecture, or related field
- 2+ years of specification sales or A&D experience preferred
- Experience working with architects, designers, or specifiers
- Commercial flooring industry experience is a plus
- Understanding of building codes (ADA, IBC)
- Familiarity with LEED and sustainability standards
- Knowledge of commercial flooring applications and product positioning
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Excellent presentation and public speaking ability
- Strategic thinking with strong opportunity identification skills
- Highly organized with strong territory management capabilities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
