Job summary

K. Hovnanian® Homes is seeking a CAD Architect/Designer to create accurate plans and documents for homebuilding projects in Plano, TX. You will use AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google Sketchup to illustrate materials, options, and layouts for review by decision-makers and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture or 2–5 years’ homebuilding experience, with knowledge of residential construction, structural and mechanical design. Competitive benefits apply.

Using premier CAD technology, you’ll draw accurate and detailed plans that help illustrate home plans, building materials, options, etc. You will also develop forms, charts and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent of 2-5 years' experience in the homebuilding industry.
