Job summary

H&H Builders in Denver, CO is seeking an Architectural Assistant to support our design and preconstruction pipeline. You will help move projects from concept to construction by producing permit and construction drawing sets and coordinating with engineers.

Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in architectural drafting, strong residential construction experience, and proficiency with Vectorworks or AutoCAD. This is a growth-focused, long-term role with opportunities to advance into architectural

Qualifications

3-5+ years in architectural drafting, design, or production.
Strong background in residential construction (custom homes or remodeling preferred).
Experience producing full permit/construction drawing sets.
Ability to think in terms of the entire home—not just isolated spaces.

Responsibilities

Translate concept designs (1-2 sheets) into complete permit and construction drawing sets (10-15+ pages).
Prepare accurate, code-conscious architectural plans for City of Denver submittals.
Coordinate structural sheets with engineering partners.
Execute detailed, high-accuracy construction plans (low creativity, high precision).
Collaborate closely with Design Lead, Preconstruction Team, and Leadership.
