Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Sr. Manager Design Technology, AI Frameworks, AEC to lead the Applied Intelligence design team within the Experience Foundations organization. You will help bring AI agents to design problems, building a modular framework that scales across the Autodesk platform and coordinates with vertical platform teams.

You will lead a team of UX engineers and architects, establishing standards and best practices for agentic, component-based design and development at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing front-end or full-stack development teams.
• 12+ years related experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining reusable UI components and component libraries.
• AI Tooling Fluency: Demonstrated "must-have" experience using Claude Code, Gemini Code Assist, or equivalent LLM-based coding agents to deliver complex features.
• Expert React & TypeScript: Deep proficiency in React Hooks, state management (Zustand, Redux, or Context), and component-driven design.
• Experience leading the architecture and development of large-scale web applications, including performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and modern UI engineering practices.
• Proficiency in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of adaptive, context-aware UI components that scale across agentic workflows.
• Establish and maintain a modular framework that supports personalized and agent-assisted user experiences.
• Establish scalable processes that speed delivery from prototype to deployable solutions.
• Build collaborative relationships and demonstrate value for stakeholders to adopt framework components, processes and best practices.
• Build and develop a strong team of UX Engineers, Motion designers and Architects that can execute the frameworks that will support our emerging platform.
