Job summary

FastTek Global in Dearborn, Michigan seeks an experienced Architect Senior Associate to design, install, and support EDI-enabled applications across B2Bi, Web and Mainframe environments. You will ensure solution quality for each trading partner and coordinate with infrastructure, customer service, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain IT, experience with Enterprise Application Integration, and proficiency in EDI mapping tools (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), SQL Server, Unix,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong IT background.
• Senior Associate with 6–10 years IT experience including architecture, Unix, network protocols and EDI mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and support B2Bi, Web and Mainframe applications.
• Demonstrate expertise in one or more technical environments and EDI solution knowledge.
• Ensure quality of solutions for each environment and for each trading partner.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams.
• Perform systems tuning on UNIX, LINUX and Windows platforms.
• Lead architecture activities including diagrams (UML, sequences) and network connectivity.

Position Description:

• Responsible for application design, installation, configuration and development support activities for B2Bi, Web and Mainframe applications
• Demonstrate a good level of expertise in one or more technical environments (software packages, programming language, database, operating system), and a good knowledge of EDI Solution
• Responsible for quality of solution in each environment and for each trading partner
• Coordinate with related work streams / teams including infrastructure teams, our Customer Service Division and Manufacturing
• Perform systems tuning and diagnostics on UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS platforms
• 5+ years of experience in a wide range of business areas of supply chain management including system development, business intelligence, business processes and customer relations.
• 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration, middleware, or other integration experience.
• 5+ years of experience with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, uml diagrams, network connectivity and communication protocols
• Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, UNIX. LINUX, Windows, SQL Server, MQ Series

Experience Required:
