Job summary

Netskope is hiring for a Cloud Data Plane engineer to architect scalable, line-rate inspection of network traffic with AI/ML techniques. You will guide architectural decisions, implement critical features, and partner with product teams to meet customer requirements.

You will contribute to the SDLC across domains, transforming the engineering culture toward AI-native development. Collaboration across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of overall experience including 10+ years in high-performance networking software and cloud services.
• Expertise in building high throughput, low latency data systems across L3 to L7, web proxy, security, monitoring and observability.
• Programming mastery in C/C++ or Python and ability to review code in these languages.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive architectural design and strategic directions for the SWG team.
• Design and implement high-quality features ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability for data plane.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer requirements into architecture.
