Job summary

SL Jensen Construction, Inc. in the Omaha Metropolitan Area seeks an Architect to develop architectural concepts for residential additions, remodels, new builds, and select commercial projects on-site.

You will prepare drawings and specifications, collaborate with in-house trades and project managers, review construction documents, and provide design guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including site visits and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture; licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes and permitting processes.
• Experience with project management and coordinating timelines across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and specifications for architectural projects.
• Collaborate with in-house trades and project managers to ensure design intent and constructability.
• Review construction documents and provide design guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct on-site site visits and coordinate with clients to interpret needs and expectations.
• Adapt designs to budget, schedule, and structural constraints for successful delivery.
