Job summary

You will prepare drawings and specifications, collaborate with in-house trades and project managers, review construction documents, and provide design guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including site visits and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture; licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes and permitting processes.

Role Description

The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts and designs for residential additions, remodels, new builds, and select commercial projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and specifications, collaborating with in-house trades and project managers, reviewing construction documents, and providing design guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves conducting site visits, coordinating with clients to interpret needs and expectations, and adapting designs to budget, schedule, and structural constraints. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Omaha Metropolitan Area, requiring regular collaboration with field and office teams to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including the ability to produce clear, code-compliant plans and construction documents.
• Experience with Project Management, including coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools (e.g., CAD/BIM platforms, project management systems) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or eligibility for licensure is preferred.
• Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, and permitting processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to conduct on-site evaluations, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
