We (MSR Communities) are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect to join our growing real estate and construction team in Lynnwood, Washington. The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise, technical proficiency, and hands‑on experience in residential and commercial architectural projects, from concept to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, drawings, and layouts for residential and commercial projects
• Create and manage detailed construction documents and technical specifications
• Produce high‑quality 3D models and renderings to support design intent and client presentations
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, construction managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, ADA requirements, and safety standards
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, and value engineering discussions
• Review construction progress and provide architectural support during execution
• Ensure accuracy, constructability, and cost‑effectiveness of architectural solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in architectural design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant platforms
• Strong experience in 3D modeling & rendering tools: advanced proficiency in associated software
• Working knowledge of graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign for presentations
• Solid understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for collaborative workflows
• In‑depth knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction techniques
• Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, ADA compliance, and permitting processes
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional construction and engineering teams

Licensing & Compliance

• Must hold all valid architectural licenses required to practice in the State of Washington
• Ability to stamp architectural plans is mandatory
