We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Architect K-12 to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. As a leading firm in educational construction, we are dedicated to creating innovative and functional spaces that inspire and nurture young minds. Responsibilities
  • 1. Architecture Design: The primary responsibility of the Permanent Architect K-12 will be to develop creative and practical architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, and 3D models that meet the specific needs and requirements of each project.
  • 2. Project Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire architectural process, from concept development to construction administration. This involves coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • 3. AutoCAD and Revit: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential for this role. The Permanent Architect K-12 will be required to use these software programs to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models.
  • 4. Educational Construction: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational construction, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulations associated with building K-12 facilities. They will be responsible for ensuring that all designs comply with relevant building codes and standards.
  • 5. Collaboration: The Permanent Architect K-12 will work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and designers to develop comprehensive design solutions. They will participate in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings to ensure that all perspectives are considered and integrated into the final design.
Qualifications
  • 1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture: The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • 2. 5+ years of experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an architect, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities. They should have a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
  • 3. CAD Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential for this role. The candidate should be able to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models using these software programs.
  • 4. Strong Design Portfolio: The Permanent Architect K-12 must have a strong design portfolio that demonstrates their ability to develop innovative and functional architectural designs for K-12 educational facilities. The portfolio should showcase a range of projects and highlight the candidate's creative problem-solving skills.
  • 5. Excellent Communication Skills: The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be able to effectively communicate their design ideas and concepts to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • 6. Leadership Abilities: The Permanent Architect K-12 should possess strong leadership abilities and be able to effectively manage and motivate a team. They should be able to provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers.
