Academy Sports + Outdoors seeks a senior Enterprise Architect to translate business requirements into scalable, secure architectural solutions for ERP and Oracle Financials deployments. You will lead architecture reviews, govern standards, and collaborate with finance, IT, and risk teams to ensure SOX controls and compliant delivery.
Five to eight years of leadership in large-scale ERP programs is expected.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant field of study required. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant Oracle, cloud, enterprise architecture, project delivery, or professional certifications are a plus.
8+ years of experience in ERP solutions, enterprise applications, solution architecture, systems integration, or major systems implementation required. 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle Financial Systems preferred. Experience designing and integrating solutions in cloud, hybrid cloud, and enterprise application environments required. Direct experience with Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management required. Implementation experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Financials required, including at least two full life cycle implementations. Exposure to finance transformation programs, SOX compliance, audit controls, and governance frameworks required. Retail industry experience preferred.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical architecture and design specifications. Ability to evaluate solution alternatives and make recommendations for balancing functionality, security, scalability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle EBS, ERP integrations, security, data flow, and enterprise application architecture. Strong communication, stakeholder management, consensus-building, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties. Regular in-office attendance is required. Flexible work schedule to support business needs. Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
