Job summary

Demma Architecture is seeking a motivated Architect Intern to support residential design projects. This full-time, in-office role offers hands-on experience across design phases under licensed architects.

You will assist with sketching, drawings, and presentations, develop Construction Documents, and collaborate with a team to learn construction methods and licensure path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or currently in final year.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Architecture.
• Exposure to SketchUpPro and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conceptual sketching and design development.

Demma Architecture is a growing architecture firm specializing in residential design. Our primary focus is custom home designs for individual homeowners, as well as semi-custom and production plans for local builders. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architect Intern who is passionate about residential architecture and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive team while contributing to all phases of design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with conceptual sketching and design development
• Support the production of schematic and working drawings
• Contribute to the development of Construction Documents under the guidance of licensed architects
• Help create presentation materials and/or renderings for clients and project stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or currently pursuing final year of degree)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Architecture
• Exposure to SketchUpPro and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for residential design and construction
• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks across multiple projects
• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Desire to grow professionally and pursue architectural licensure

This is a full-time, in-office position. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
