Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture.
• 3-7 years post-graduate design and construction administration experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Ability to work in-person at our Latham, NY office.
• Fully competent architect in all conventional aspects of architecture.
• Registered architect in New York State (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in architectural design for projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Oversee and organize a project from inception to completion.
• Envision and implement the comprehensive artistic, practical, and spatial components of a building.
• Translate client requirements into architectural documents, incorporating codes and feasibility.
• Work on projects from conception through construction, coordinating with clients and consultants.
• Analyze design, planning, and occupancy studies and design layouts.
• Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing data.
• Write reports and specifications and review plans, estimates, and calculations.
• Guide and mentor young professionals in the firm.
