Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an ERP Platform Architect to lead our SAP S/4HANA landscape.

You will translate business goals into scalable architectures and own the transformation roadmap across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations. This executive-level role drives Clean Core governance, guides extensions via SAP BTP, and chairs the Architectural Review Board to ensure security, performance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10–15 years SAP architecture experience, 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP expertise with integration tech.
• Proven ARB leadership, roadmaps, and Clean Core governance.
• Strong cloud-native, AI Core, analytics, and HA/DR strategies.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations.

Responsibilities

• Landscape ownership of SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud environments.
• Define and maintain architectural roadmap aligned with BPO strategies.
• Evaluate SAP technologies (AI Core, analytics) to drive transformation.
• Act as authority on system modifications and enforce Clean Core.
• Set development standards; guide extensions via SAP BTP.
• Chair ARB to ensure security, compliance, and performance.
• Architect robust integrations with procurement, HRIS, fleet systems.
• Ensure data integrity for Master Data Architecture.
• Design high-availability, DR, and failover architectures.
• Monitor capacity and bottlenecks for scalable enterprise growth.

We are seeking a highly strategic ERP Platform Architect to translate business objectives into scalable, resilient, and secure SAP landscapes. In this executive-level technical role within the Administration pillar, you will serve as the ultimate authority on system architecture and "Clean Core" governance.

What you’ll do

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Landscape Ownership: Own the end-to-end technical landscape of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and associated cloud environments.
• Strategic Roadmap: Define and maintain the architectural roadmap, ensuring complete alignment with Business Process Owner (BPO) strategies across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Transformational Innovation: Evaluate and recommend emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP AI Core and Advanced Analytics, to aggressively drive the CoE's Transformational service tier.

Technical Governance & The "Clean Core"

• System Authority: Act as the ultimate authority on system modifications by rigorously reviewing and approving or rejecting custom code (Z-code) requests to enforce the "Clean Core" mandate.
• Development Standards: Dictate development standards, explicitly guiding the development team to utilize SAP BTP for extensions rather than modifying core S/4HANA source code.
• Governance Leadership: Chair the Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure all system enhancements align with enterprise security, compliance, and performance standards.

Integration & Ecosystem Mapping

• Ecosystem Architecture: Architect robust, secure, and low-latency integration patterns between SAP and critical third-party systems such as procurement portals, HRIS, and fleet management.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data flows seamlessly across the ecosystem, directly supporting the Master Data Architect in maintaining the "Single Source of Truth".

Resilience, Capacity, and Performance

• System Resilience: Partner with system engineers to expertly design high-availability, disaster recovery (DR), and failover architectures.
• Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor system capacity and architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the system can handle the immense transactional volume of a rapidly expanding enterprise.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Event Mesh).
• Proven experience leading Architectural Review Boards (ARB), defining technical roadmaps, and enforcing "Clean Core" governance standards.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, SAP AI Core, Advanced Analytics, and high-availability/disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations departments.
