Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Architect/Engineer to support the FAA’s facilities and programs. You will lead space planning and architectural design, ensuring layouts meet FAA regulations and accessibility standards.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM coordination is required to develop floor plans, 3D models, and visualizations. The role offers telework with 25% travel; you must be in the Eastern time zone and coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty

Qualifications

• Architectural or Engineering degree from an accredited college/university.
• 8+ years of design experience with commercial, industrial and/or government facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead space planning and architectural design for government facilities in FAA portfolios.
• Develop floor plans and 3D models with NFPA 101 Life Safety and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate layouts and systems.
• Ensure code compliance and support construction administration through submittals and RFIs.
