Job summary

Architecture Incorporated in Rapid City is seeking an experienced architect to lead projects from concept through construction. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate consultants, and ensure design excellence and client satisfaction on diverse facilities.

Requirements include professional degree in architecture, 3–5 years of experience, proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Twinmotion or Enscape, and strong communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of design and construction processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee architectural production and delivery of design solutions throughout all phases of a project (including new facilities, additions or remodels).
  • Prepare specifications.
  • Perform code analysis.
  • Monitor budget to ensure the project progresses in a cost effective and timely manner.
  • Keep up to date on new technologies, trends, and innovative best practices, and recommend changes and new services as appropriate.
  • Mentor our early-career professionals in all facets of design.
  • Assist in maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business connections.
  • Participate in the development of proposals and interviews to obtain new work.

What you’ll do:

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university within the US.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Enscape, and/or similar rendering software.
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design concepts, practices, and methods.
  • Experience directing or coordinating work efforts of team members, including consultants and contractors.
