Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Software Engineer/Developer to drive design, implementation, and governance of end-to-end GRC solutions using Archer across the organization. You will own the technical roadmap, data integration patterns, and REST API integrations with upstream and downstream systems.

You will collaborate with risk, compliance, audit, and legal stakeholders to implement scalable Archer configurations, UI enhancements, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3–5 years related Archer GRC experience.
• Experience configuring Archer workflows, data events, and access controls.
• Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and databases.
• Strong SQL, JavaScript, and Python scripting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Participates in architecture design teams.
• Defines and implements application-level architecture.
• Develops applications on complex projects and subsystems.
• Recommends development testing tools and methodologies.
• QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develops documentation for applications or subsystems.
• Plans full project life cycle for complex projects.
• Meets project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Advises on risk assessment and management strategies.
• Coordinates project schedules and assignments.
• Liaises with business units to resolve issues.
• Provides technology solutions and estimates for initiatives.
• Advises senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentors junior team members.
• Performs complex technical and functional analyses.
• Develops creative technical solutions for ongoing development.
