This temporary on-call role involves field surveys, shovel testing, and excavations, with assignments lasting several weeks and travel from home locations.

You will work under the supervision of senior archaeologists, gain hands-on field experience, and have potential paths into part-time or full-time roles. PPE is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with GPS equipment.

ECT is looking for on-call field archaeologists to assist on projects in Texas and Kansas for upcoming fieldwork. The archaeology field technician performs a variety of archaeological field survey tasks under the supervision of a senior archaeologist or field supervisor. Field assignments can include hours outside of a standard workday and last a few weeks at a time. This is an on-call position meaning assignment length will vary and applicants will be required to travel to the job sites from their home locations.

Immediate project needs are in Texas and Kansas with additional opportunities across the Unites States.

As an Archaeology Field Technician, you’ll take part in a variety of field assignments—ranging from archaeological surveys to excavations—while traveling to diverse project sites. ECT provides logistical coordination and ensures you’re equipped with all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
