Job summary

Arcadia Homecare and Staffing in California is hiring a Home Health Aide to support seniors and individuals with disabilities living independently. The role offers flexible, consistent hours with the opportunity for Daily Pay and pay rates ranging from $16.90 to $22 per hour.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, transportation, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in client condition.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide.
• Pre-employment physical examination/PPD prior to patient contact.
• Criminal background check required.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license and insurance if using a vehicle.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Nurturing and compassionate nature with the desire to care for others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor's appointments, shopping, and other errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications as directed.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and adapt to department needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.

• Abide by all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
