Job summary

Arcadia Homecare and Staffing in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide comfort, support, and companionship to clients in their own homes.

You’ll assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and friendly activities while building trust with families in the community. Training and flexible scheduling available; full-time and part-time roles with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Dependability and good attendance.
• Experience helping others is a plus.
• Driver's license and auto insurance preferred.
• Ability to work occasional weekends.
• Commitment to providing excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Run errands and assist around the home.
• Offer friendly conversation and activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
