Job summary

Five Star Parks & Attractions is seeking an Arcade Game Technician for its Ashland, KY location. This part-time role repairs and maintains arcade and attraction games under the direction of the Technical Manager, handles on-floor calls, and helps keep the facility clean and safe.

Candidates should have a technical mindset, be detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Basic math and computer familiarity are helpful; holidays and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required; some mechanical background preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Professional.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Handles calls on the game floor, bowling, and simulators.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance on machines.
• Informs Technical Manager of potential machine problems.
• Assess every game every week.
• Complete weekly maintenance sheet and cleaning checklist.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workshop.
• Maintains safe work environment and stocking of prizes.
• Other duties as assigned.
