Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc in Moreno Valley, CA is hiring a friendly, outgoing team member for weekend and closing shifts in our bowling center and arcade. This part-time role requires a high school diploma or GED and offers hourly pay of $18–$19.75, plus weekly perks and a fun work environment.

You will engage guests, keep games stocked and tidy, answer general inquiries, and help manage alcohol and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years experience in hospitality or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers during shifts to determine their needs.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games and keep areas clean and attractive.
• Answer phone calls for general inquiries and assist guests as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
• Monitor and enforce alcohol and age-related policies when applicable.

Position details:

• Part time (20-25 hours a week).
• Wage: $18 - 19.75.
• Shift: weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) or closing shift availability (store closes at 2am)
• Hours of operation: 10am - 2am every day including holidays

Benefits:

• 1 hour to play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
• 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
• 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
• 50% discount on food items per working shift.
• 1 complimentary beverage per working shift.

Essential Duties:

• During assigned shifts engage customers to determine whether their needs are met.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers’ eyes.
• Respond responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Answers phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Non-essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains the confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred one to two years' experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
