Malibu Jack’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center in Springfield, IL is seeking an Attractions & Arcade Technician (Support) to assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing arcade games, rides, and attractions.

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical, electrical, or technical background who wants to learn from a senior technician and help ensure our attractions operate safely and efficiently for guests.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical or technical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision of senior technicians.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift moderate weight, stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on arcade games, small rides, and attractions.
• Help troubleshoot and identify issues, escalating to senior technicians when needed.
• Support daily operation checks to ensure attractions are guest-ready and safe.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Respond to urgent equipment issues or on-call emergencies as directed.
• Keep work areas, tools, and parts organized and clean.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and operations staff to prioritize repair work and improve workflow.
