Job summary

KSNV is seeking a fall News Intern to join our newsroom. This internship offers hands-on experience in researching, writing, and producing stories for broadcast and digital platforms.

You will collaborate with reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in both newsroom and field settings, pitching ideas and gaining practical skills in video shooting and live control room operations.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or a recent graduate.
• Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to work on-site at KSNV in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in newsroom and field.
• Pitch fresh story ideas to shape coverage that matters to the audience.
• Learn to shoot video, frame visuals, and understand what makes a story stand out.
• Gain exposure to control room operations and live broadcasts.
