A Day in the Life of an Assistant General Manager

• Lead and motivate a team of employees, including training, scheduling, and coaching to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
• Ensure all customers have a memorable dining experience by providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and policy compliance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation to meet Arby’s brand expectations.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with managing labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Address and resolve issues that arise during shifts.

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, including Profit & Loss responsibility, preferably in QSR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects; stand and walk constantly during shifts; operate restaurant equipment safely.

Compensation for Assistant General Managers varies based on skills, experience, location, and other factors, and will be discussed during hiring. Typical starting ranges are:

• All other locations: $14.00 to $23.40 per hour
• Maryland: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
