We provide hands-on training to ensure your success. As a Plant Health Care Specialist, your duties include:

• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed
• Communicating with clients about work performed
• Mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers safely and according to laws and labels
• Maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles
• Accurate record-keeping and reporting
• Driving company vehicles safely across multiple sites
• Working as part of a tree care crew under supervision during the off-season

Qualifications include:

• Passion for nature and the outdoors
• Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (we support exam costs and prep)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to identify regional trees and shrubs
• Experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture (preferred but not required)
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related fields (preferred but not required)
