Job summary

HES is seeking an Arborist for Baylor University in Waco, TX. This full-time role supports landscape maintenance, pruning, and plant health care in the southwest region, with duties including cabling, bracing, and safe tree removals. Strong record-keeping and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture operations and tree maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee and perform tree maintenance operations.
• Monitor labor hours and material purchases as part of grounds management.
• Perform personnel reviews for arborist staff.
• Conduct routine grounds inspections and safety trainings.
• Maintain logs of plant health assessments and progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Keep daily logs and communicate with client staff.
