Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in St. Louis, MO seeks an Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew, perform arboriculture tasks safely, and raise crew performance. The role emphasizes leadership, client communication, and high-quality tree care.

Experience includes at least 3 years of tree climbing with DdRT or SRT, operating equipment, and a valid driver’s license. This full-time position offers a safety-first culture, internal growth, and broad training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in tree care.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services as directed by Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensuring crew members are trained appropriately for each job assignment.
• Maintaining work according to industry and company standards and communicating with clients.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
