Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to supervise and perform professional tree care safely and efficiently. Lead a crew, assess site conditions, and ensure work meets industry standards.

Qualified candidates have at least three years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. This full-time role is based in State College, PA, with year-round outdoor work.

Qualifications

• At least three years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) in the tree care industry.
• Proven ability to supervise crew and perform arboriculture tasks safely.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Supervising crews, training team members, and ensuring work meets industry standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships on site.

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
• Pruning
• Cabling and bracing
• Rigging
• Removals
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
