Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Northampton, MA is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to lead a tree care crew, perform all services safely and efficiently, and mentor teammates. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional development.

You will supervise pruning, cabling, rigging, removals and equipment operation, while ensuring quality work and strong client communication. A valid license and 3+ years climbing plus a commitment to safety are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proactive, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture, including: pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Properly maintain and operate equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Lead and supervise crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensure crew members are trained for each job assignment and maintain client relations.
