Responsibilities as a Crew Foreperson:
- Lead a team, fostering a positive environment.
- Interpret work orders from the General Foreman or customer.
- Plan daily work considering various factors.
- Perform Pre-Job Hazard Surveys and assign tasks.
- Perform tree trimming, removal, and spraying duties.
- Climb trees and operate bucket trucks.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Remove debris and apply chemicals as needed.
- Ensure safety practices are followed.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in tree work around utility lines.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of trees and arboriculture techniques.
- Experience in climbing and knot tying.
- Ability to perform physical labor and operate equipment.
- Valid driver's license, CDL preferred.
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
