Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Climber to join our outdoor tree care crew on residential and commercial properties. You will climb trees and support Crew Leaders in performing comprehensive pruning, removals, and cabling while practicing strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver’s license, and a passion for nature and the outdoors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions.
• Safety‑minded with a passion for nature and the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations.
• Properly maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Learn and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
