Job summary

Jake's Tree Service in Chester, PA is seeking a motivated Tree Climber to join our growing team. The role involves pruning, removals, rigging, and other arboricultural services with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and professionalism.

The position requires physical stamina, climbing experience, and the ability to work as part of a crew in a fast-paced outdoor environment. ISA certification is a plus and compensation is competitive based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture and tree climbing is required.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and approved systems.
• Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, and arborist equipment.
• Execute rigging procedures for controlled lowering of limbs.
• Work with crew to ensure safe, efficient job completion.
• Assist with storm damage cleanup and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in safe condition.
• Follow all safety policies and ANSI Z133 standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team on sites.
• Assist with ground operations and general tree care duties when not climbing.
