Qualifications

• Previous professional tree climbing experience.
• Experience with pruning and removals in a production environment.
• Knowledge of rigging systems and safe lowering techniques.
• Familiarity with ANSI Z133 safety standards and ANSI A300 pruning standards.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tree pruning and trimming to ANSI standards.
• Conduct tree removals using rigging, lowering, and aerial lift techniques.
• Climb safely using ropes, harnesses, saddles and related equipment.
• Operate chainsaws on the ground and aloft; manage stump grinding and site cleanup.
• Support plant health care recommendations through observation and reporting.
• Respond to emergency storm work when needed and ensure job-site safety inspections.
• Identify tree diseases, pests, and structural defects.
