Job summary

Distinctive Tree Care LLC in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Climber to perform pruning, removal, and maintenance of trees using ropes, harnesses, and rigging gear. This role emphasizes safety, physical endurance, and teamwork with the crew.

You will operate chainsaws and aerial lifts, assess tree health, follow OSHA standards, and communicate professionally with clients. Experience 1-3 years and ISA/TCIA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in tree climbing or professional arboriculture.
• Proficiency with chainsaws, rigging, and climbing gear.
• Knowledge of ANSI/OSHA safety standards for tree work.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes and harnesses for pruning and removal.
• Perform tree trimming and removal following industry best practices.
• Safely operate chainsaws, rigging gear, aerial lifts, and equipment.
• Assess tree health and determine maintenance or removal approach.
• Collaborate with crew and Foreman to complete jobs efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE use, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with ground operations, cleanup, and debris removal.
