Job summary

Marquis Tree Service in Massachusetts is hiring a Climber/Bucket Operator to perform tree removals, pruning, and trimming as part of a safety‑driven crew. You will work with skilled arborists on projects from site assessment through final cleanup, ensuring high service standards and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of tree care experience, the ability to work at heights in all weather, and a valid driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of tree care experience.
• Ability to work at heights in all weather.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL Class A preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist or similar certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read work orders and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using rope and saddle or operate aerial lift trucks for removals, pruning, and trimming.
• Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
• Participate in site assessments and safety briefings; follow safety standards.
• Coordinate with crew and communicate with clients about job details.
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment for safe operation.
• Document completed work and report hazards and equipment issues.
• Respond to emergency tree work and storm cleanup, including after-hours work.
