Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in San Jose, CA is seeking an Arborist Climber to join our tree-care crew, performing tree climbing and assisting Crew Leaders on residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include ground and aerial lift duties, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, tree identification, risk assessments, and strict safety compliance while maintaining equipment.

Must have at least 1 year of climbing experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation in tree care.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely carry out arboriculture tasks including pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, and root collar work.
• Identify trees, assess risks, and maintain tools and equipment while following safety policies.
