Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Climber to join our outdoor tree care crew in Durham, NC. The role centers on climbing trees, supporting Arborist Crew Leaders, and performing pruning, removals, and related tasks on residential and commercial properties.

You will work in a safety-first environment, gain industry credentials, and have access to ongoing training and equipment provided by the company.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Commitment to safety and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely execute all arboriculture tasks including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Learn and follow all safety rules and company safety policies.

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in
