Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Columbus, OH is seeking an Arborist Climber to join a safety‑focused, professional tree care crew. You will perform tree climbing and assist crew leaders on residential and commercial properties, upholding Bartlett's standards of excellence.

This role emphasizes outdoor work year‑round, hands‑on training, and opportunities for advancement. A valid Class B CDL is preferred, and you will gain access to Bartlett's research resources and credential programs.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety rules and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely perform all arboriculture tasks including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Learn and adhere to all safety rules and Bartlett policies.
• Demonstrate a passion for nature and the outdoors.

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
