Job summary

The F. A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Arborist Climber to join a professional tree-care crew. You will perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of assigned tasks under the supervision of the Arborist Crew Leader.

Responsibilities include tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, and root collar work, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. Bartlett provides training, PPE, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of tree identification and arboriculture basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including: Tree identification, Tree risk assessments, Pruning, Removals, Cabling and bracing, Root collar excavations.
• Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies.
