Job summary

Plascore Inc. in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Saw Operator for its Aramid division on 3rd shift (10:30 pm–6:30 am, Sun-Thu). You will operate a horizontal band saw to cut honeycomb material to specified thickness and inspect finished slices for quality.

Training on first shift is provided, with a starting wage of $22.29 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package and a special sign-on bonus program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal band saw to cut slices to specified thickness.
• Load/unload Aramid blocks from saw table using an overhead crane.
• Set up and run the saw; change blades and guides as needed.
• Inspect blocks and slices for quality issues and measure thickness.
• Record production data and maintain accurate records.
