Job summary

Plascore, Inc. is seeking an Aramid Saw Operator for the 2nd shift in Zeeland, MI. You will use a band saw to cut honeycomb material, inspect finished pieces, and prepare them for shipment, with training on 1st shift for 4–6 weeks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude. Overtime is available, and the 2nd shift runs 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, Mon–Fri. Starting pay is $23.29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Startup/verify secondary equipment is operating.
• Check schedule to determine next order.
• Read work orders and process specifications.
• Set up and run horizontal band saw to cut slices.
• Measure blocks and slices with tape measure and micrometer.
• Maintain accurate records in the computer system.
